APROXIMANDO OS ACADÊMICOS DA AGROECOLOGIA E DO TRABALHADOR RURAL
Abstract
University Extension Project of visiting an agroforestry property for a weekend. The objective
was to experience and reflect on the activity and the rural work environment, understanding
the processes involved in the production of healthy food and the health of rural workers. The
results for the students were the experience of managing the extension project, awareness of
agroecology and worker health. Other results were the production of a logo, a menu based on
local agroecological products and a systematization of perceptions after the experience. The
systematized perceptions indicate that the participants modified their food acquisition habits,
felt more able to guide patients on the consumption of pesticide-free foods and realized the
need for policies for rural workers' health.
