Submissions
Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.- The contribution is original and unpublished, and is not being evaluated for publication by another journal.
- The contribution is part of the so-called current theme of the Journal.
- The submission file is in Microsoft Word, OpenOffice or RTF format.
- URLs for referrals were provided when possible.
- The text follows the style standards and bibliographic requirements described in Author Guidelines, on the About the Magazine page.
Articles and Essays
Section composed of articles and essays submitted based on the theme of each edition, resulting from research and studies relevant to the degree of maturity and rigor of national and international contributions, observing the plurality of areas and subareas of interest of the Journal.
White Wall
Section characterized by flexible content, which can address: experimentation and reflections on the field of architecture and urbanism through the presentation of brief literary texts, poems, drawings, photographs, or even, taking advantage of the possibilities of the electronic platform of the Journal .
Interviews
Interview whose content and interviewee are exemplary for the debate on architecture, city and contemporaneity.
Reviews
Section for book reviews and critical readings of theses and dissertations recently defended in the area, prepared by specialists and/or members of examining boards.
Articles and Essays
Section composed by the exhibition of projects and processes, that are of prominence and relevance for the call of the Journal, accompanied by theoretical and critical analysis.
Guest Author
Guest Author whose contribution is exemplary to the debate on architecture, the city and contemporaneity.
Editorial
It presents the objectives of the issue and the theme, the main issues addressed, the composition of articles and published works, as well as issues present in society and in the academic world directly related to the areas of the journal.
Translations
Translations of articles, essays and various texts will be accepted that address subjects belonging to and of fundamental importance to the thematic call of the journal.
