RESOCIALIZATION OF JUVENILE OFFENDERS
A MULTIDISCIPLINARY ANALYSIS IN APLLICATION OF SOCIO-EDUCATIONAL MEASURES
Abstract
This article describes a study on socio-educational measures and their impact on the re-socialization of juvenile offenders, as well as the multidisciplinary fundamentals of their application. First, the fundamentals of application of these socio-educational measures are addressed, since they have a pedagogical-educational nature that aims to re-socialize the minor offender to society. Throughout the study, several factors that psychologically and socially contribute to juvenile delinquency and its agents are also analyzed. In the end, the impacts of socio-educational measures on the re-socialization of these minor offenders were observed, as well as the importance of an interdisciplinary support network involving the family, the State and society for its effectiveness.
