THE IMPOTANCE OF LITERATURE USAGE AS A FACILITATING RESOURCE IN PROCESS OF LEARNING

Abstract

The main goal of this work is to recognize the importance of using Literature as a facilitating resource in the learning process, based on arguments by important theorists who emphasize the need to use literature from early childhood, related to the early childhood education, until the elementary and high school. Literature reveals to be an indispensable resource insofar as it awakens imagination, autonomy and develops a critical sense in readers. Consequently, these benefits extend to the personal and social life of the student, who improves his knowledge and builds his personality in a healthy and reflexive way.
