Abstract

In this article, we discuss the uses of path dependence and temporal analysis as a research technique for studies in public policy in order to demonstrate the possibilities and contributions of these methods. For this, we will do a literature discussion of this concept, and after, we will point out their contributions and the difficulties of its use for the public policy field.
