Abstract

The objective of this article is to make an small analysis of the processes that make possible the change of the traditional society for the modern society using the theory developed for Simmel and Giddens. Both the authors, each one at a moment, had portraied of clear and original form these changes. The modern life has direct relation with the processes of individualization that also will be boarded in this article, but only with brief considerations. Thematic Traditional Society X Modern Society is very extensive and therefore, we do not intend to give to account of the diverse authors and nor of all the aspects that involve the subject, but yes to rummage the theory and to compare two authors who, each one its time, observed with attention the occurred changes in the ticket of the traditional society for the modern society.
