A SÍNTESE ENTRE OBJETIVIDADE E SUBJETIVIDADE MEDIADA PELA NOÇÃO DE HABITUS EM BOURDIEU

Abstract

In a dialogue with both classical authors of social sciences, as from another areas, Bourdieu builds his theory, in which the habitus notion is central. This notion has an original reworking, an attempt to mediate objectivity and subjectivity, inserted into a relational perspective to the notions of field, social space, trajectories, class (class conflict), power relationship, symbolic violence, etc. At the same time habitus is a structuringstructure, it constitutes a practical knowledge acquired in the social games that the agent participated. The social incorporation constitutes the habitus, which in turn, is the generator principle of choices, classification schemes, appreciation and di-vision of the world according to the position in social space. For Bourdieu, the social construction does not exceed the limits, because in my point of view, it prevails the reproductive and objective dimensions of social, not allowing to see the habitus as choice and reflective possibility for the agent.
