AÇÃO EXTENSIONISTA: UMA OPORTUNIDADE DA UNIVERSIDADE COMILITAR AO LADO DE PESSOAS EM VULNERABILIDADE DE GÊNERO

Abstract

The objective of this article was to understand the role of an extension Public University in the
co-creation of Social Innovation (SI). Considering that extensionista actions are guided by the
Dusselian act of placing oneself “effectively and practically 'together' with the Other in terms
of institutional voids regarding socio-environmental problems. For this purpose, the Living Lab
Mais Juntas served as an object analysis. The method for developing this work was research. In
general, this research showed that in extension actions the university is able to orchestrate the
process of co-creation of social innovations, since in the Living Lab Mais Juntas, all actions were
planned and organized by the unified Project with an emphasis on extension Mais Juntas of UFPel.

It is also worth highlighting that the use of the Design Sprint co-creation method (validated in

this article for use in the co-creation of social innovations) enabled knowledge mobility, main-
tenance of network stability and horizontal communication and the construction of relational

capital among the actors.
