REFLEXÕES ATRAVÉS DE PERSPECTIVAS DECOLONIAIS

Abstract

Considering our experiences in the movement that proposes to build an agroecological project in
the southern region of Rio Grande do Sul, we visualize a context of disputes and contradictions.
Thinking about university extension projects and the Sustainable Development Goals of the last
United Nations Conference, the objective of this essay is to bring some reflections that we have

considered relevant to advance the debates on development and sustainability. Through socioe-
conomic contextualization and a decolonial turn, we try to bring problems that we understand

as central in Latin American social reality, from this background, we bring authors who carried
out an epistemological movement fundamental to the challenges of the XXI century. At the end, we raise some questions, in view of the presented problem.
