educational actions in the education of school-age children and adolescents
Abstract
The objective is to describe the process of construction and development of the Health x Solid Waste extension project: creating multiplying agents at school. The project was developed at the Federal University of Sergipe, Lizard Campus, between July 2018 and July 2019. Of interdis- ciplinary character, it was divided into 3 distinct moments. At moment 1 the initial stage was carried out aiming at the progressive immersion of students with the theme of environmental education. At moment 2, two workshops were planned, one for reuse of PET bottles and the other for recycling paper. At moment 3, a space was reserved for feedback from the school body and extension students. 4 schools participated in the extension actions, one from the urban region and 3 from the rural region, totaling approximately 577 elementary school students I and II. The actions developed fostered the improvement of essential skills for the manifestation of citizenship over the environment.
