Abstract

This paper resumes the basics concepts of the Critical Theory, that go back to the Aufklärung tradition in the broad sense of the historical process of Formation. It emphazises culture concept as emancipator mediation, as opposed to the half-culture, of the cultural industry, and its domestication function. It sets up relationship among the massive character of the mass media, the market society and the neoliberal mark, with concepts, as competence and ability, that permeate the education politics.
