Abstract

Abstract: This article presents a literature review of the characteristics of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) in children, as well the relationship between these children and their parents according to the Ecological-Systemic Theory aiming to do a reflection on the educative strategies. From the existent literature, was identified that different factors can explain the disorder. Therefore, more studies about Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) characteristics and about the strategies used by the parents of these children must be conducted.
