Abstract

Studies the process of choosing textbooks of Natural Sciences in the first years of elementary school recommended PNLD 2013 Basic Education in Schools. For this research, participate in meetings organized by schools to choose the textbooks to be used in the next three years (2013, 2014 and 2015). The monitoring of the choice of LD process in these schools allowed us to observe that: (1) the choice of LD teachers was influenced by a specific publisher; (2) teachers elect their own criteria for choosing books; (3) teachers were the 4th and 5th years who chose the Science textbooks to be adopted throughout the school; (4) schools organized at least a meeting for the choice of textbooks.
