Abstract
In this article are presented some conclusions of teh investigation “Images and social representations of the “other” in the Social Science school texts in Colombia. The aim was to interpret the texts in Social Science in your binding to the construction of the identity and diversity of the both personal and colective dimensions. The body is composed by the textbook section of the Social Science according to the current official curriculum.
