The SPEECH OF LONGEVITY LEVERAGED ON FEMALE BODY THROUGH THE MEDIA PRESS
Abstract
Old is your grandmother!, Healthy Race - women need specific care, Heart of the Woman. These are some of the enunciations present on the covers of the sections about health named "Viva Bem" and "Vida" from the newspapers Diário Popular and Zero Hora respectively, which were used as discursive corpus to problematize how women over 60 years old are interpellated by true speeches in favor of a quality aging and for the most time possible. Connections were established with some analytical tools present in Foucault's works, as the relations of power and knowing, disciplinary power and biopower to show the potency of the longevity speech constituted through practices instituted in the body of women who are in third age.
