THE ENVIRONMENTAL THEME IN THE NATURAL SCIENCE CURRICULUM
review of the ENPEC annals of 2013 and 2015
Abstract
This article proposes a bibliographical review whose objective was to analyze the aspects related to the insertion of the environmental theme in the basic education Natural Sciences curriculum, evidenced by the works published in the annals of the National Encounter of Research in Science Teaching (ENPEC), in the year of 2013 and 2015. The analysis was structured in three categories, named: “Curriculum Conceptions”, “Environmental Education (EA) and interdisciplinarity” and “Pedagogical possibilities for the insertion of the environmental theme in curricula”. Most of the works bring interdisciplinarity as the main perspective of approach to environmental issues. The absence of papers analyzing the insertion of the environmental theme in Brazilian curricular proposals was a gap found, since the National Curricular Guidelines for Environmental Education (DCNEA) Guide the work with the EA, in all levels/modalities of teaching, according to a critical and transforming bias.
