ENTREPRENEURSHIP AS A REFERENCE IN A PRIVATE EDUCATIONAL PROJECT FOR PUBLIC EDUCATION IN RIO GRANDE DO SUL
Abstract
The changes in the relations between the public and the private, especially after the 1990s, result from the adaptations of the role assumed by the State in its relationship with society as a justification for facing the capital crises. With the argument that State intervention must be minimal in social life, the neoliberal project intends, in fact, the expansion of capitalist social relations to all dimensions of existence. In education, this expansion is expressed in the privatization processes, which occur both through the dispute over the public fund and through the interference in the organization of educational policies and in the definition of management actions at the municipal and state levels. In this case, a dispute is established for the content and the execution of the educational proposals. In this article we deal with the relationship between the public and the private in education, based on the analysis of the project for training entrepreneurial subjects defended by business organizations to be inserted in school curricula.
