Abstract

In this article we will point out the searchers that seek to account for the lines of the paradigm of the Police State, which in the mid-16th, 17th and 18th centuries was structured in monarchies. In this sense, we will reflect on the origins of the term police, as well as the models that would
have as influence the treatises of the science of science, such as pastoral care, the economy as a model of the Old Regime, and the influences of the common. One of the main works in the field of police will also be needed, Nicolas Delamere's Trait de la Police. We will thus deal with the genealogy of the polizeiwissenschaft, the engenderer of a new “art of government”.
