Abstract

The research emerged from the development of the project  Body, Dance and Creation: A weaving of  knowledge about the choreographic composition, during the discipline Extension Practice  as part of the Theater Course at the Federal University of Maranhão (UFMA)  As a theoretical foundation, we seek the current concept of University Extension (MEC, 2006), which unfolds in the relationship between experience and knowledge for teacher training in Arts (SANTANA, 2013), which leads us to rethink the curriculum of the Bachelor’s degree In Dance of the Federal University of Pelotas - UFPel, with the perspective of glimpsing formative experiences more focused on the informal and community context.
