Abstract

This article is an account of my research process in the Program of Graduate Studies in Visual Arts - Master at the Federal University of Pelotas-UFPel, Brazil. The research is at the qualification stage. In this paper, I consider issues that permeate the deterritorialization of two subjects , the artist and teacher, focusing on reterritorialization when only one subject emerges, the artist-teacher. Such reterritorialization generates a place of tension, incorporating artistic practice into the teaching practice, making emerge a certain kind of teaching poetic  in daily school practice, hence the proposal of a poetics of teaching. Reading Manoel de Barros poems on cognition, learning and teaching served as a basis for some considerations. Among the three categories of artistic practice that are noted - the process of creation,  research in art and aesthetic experience - the first will be addressed in this text, associated with the concept of inventory.
