EDUCAÇÃO E NEOLIBERALISMO
Abstract
This article aims to discuss education in a context of global economy in which neoliberalism is emblematic. It points to some aspects of this universalization in Latin America as well as calls the attention to the danger of an attitude of approval of all reforms based on the criterion of being already a truth in other countries. The article discusses the changes in the points of view of brazilian entrepreneurs, concerning to education, and calls into question the reform proposals which are based solely upon entrepreneurial interests. It emphasizes the necessity of workers in education to understand the present context of our country and of the world and to struggle for an educative practice concerned with citizenship.
