Abstract
The present paper analyses the trajectory of the liberal education’s concept in the period wich comprehends the XVIII century up to the beginning of the XX century. The diferent traces of the liberal education have for basis the transformations from the feudal mode of production to the capitalist mode of production. In the complexity of the liberal education it is possible to find contradictions and conflicts of interest. The objective of this study is to provide elements for to a profund discussion concerning the neoliberal pedagogic project.
