A COMPLEMENTARIDADE RAZÃO-EMOÇÃO NA RELAÇÃO PROFESSOR-ALUNO
Abstract
This work presents some matters about the problems within the relationship between teachers and students in their social contact of everyday classroom. Starting from the critical reflection which happened in the past, it approaches old philosophical questions about the necessity of complementing the human rational and emotional sides. University physics students and teachers’ current statements about situations that are relevant to their lives, characterized as teacher/student conflict relation, are the evidences of how much the process of teaching and learning influence our institutions of high education. Based on the evolution of scientific knowledge, which was necessary learning to live with opposite notions about the same element, licentiateship courses suggest as the appropriate local to unmake old habits and even realize ruptures on the educational practices consolidating all the experiences already realized.
