Abstract

Analyse of the relationship between valuation and knowledge in educational work, having as theoretical basis the bindings between ethic, theory of quotidian life and theory of alienation, within the historical-social conception (Marx). The comprehension of the consequences of these bindings for the relationship between valuation and knowledge in the educational work is indispensable for the process of formation of educator/researcher with the purpose to contribute, in the specific limits of the educative work, for the transformation of social reality. This perspective requires the comprehension of the reciprocal relationship between educational theory and practice in a unit of two poles, which are distinct but complementary in the thinking and acting of the educator/researcher, both in the level of quotidian and non-quotidian.
