Abstract
Relating the focus of antropological and pedagogical studies on primitives communities and the children or childhood, respectively, the idea that both share of the same way of seeing the “other” is discussed in this article. The “other” is seen as different or in assimetric relationship with the observer. The challenge is to understand and explain the behavior of the other people and to have a different approaching with them, in order to recognize the social and cultural particularities and specifics, respecting and valuing the differences of each one.
