Abstract
School, specially basic education, is one of the social fields where women intersect the more frequently (teachers and principals on a side, and mothers on the other). The school, whose role is to trasmit a certain cultural capital to childhood, competes with familial regulation when, for instance, particular versions about gender relations are built. This makes up a conflictive relationship. The author makes the methodological option of reconstructing her memories and revealing her present state as a possibility of critics of her own (dis)encounter.
