Abstract
This paper will discuss the Marx’s notion of human and social development, considering the human relationship with the nature, the human relationship with other humans and the role of the work and the industrial society on these processes. From these central topics, it will discuss the contributions and limitations of the marxian theory of human and social development considering the contemporary challenges and the consequences for the education and the nature.
