FREE WORK, CULTURE AND PRIVATIZATION
the task of formation in facing capital’s greed
Abstract
In three vigorous movements, the author addresses tasks to education. First. he discusses how to educate people so that they recognize themselves in the world and have the perception of the “free work” they do in favor of capital. In the second moment, he brings out the amazing processes of privatization happening worldwide, with special focus on Latin America where water, in some cases, is already in hands of capital owners, and maybe the air, in a little while will be too. Finally, the author discusses Culture and the Project of Nation; here the main issues are colonialism and all processes related to cultural break-in. In short, the three texts challenge education to be tied to life in society while capitalist system, fast and smartly, seduces people to live at its service.
