Abstract

Notwithstanding some noteworthy forms of resistance, it is undeniably that we are living under a set of complex neoliberal victorious impulses. Irrefutably, within education, in general and curriculum, in particular, one of the most effective impulses within the neoliberal strategy is, not necessarily its capacity to control the common sense, but precisely the capacity of a profound reconfiguration of such common sense. This paper tries to put forward an analysis over this wise way – yet extremely perverted and dangerous - of doing social policies, one that interferes quite dynamically within the very meanings of particular concepts. In essence, one must say that neoliberalism is winning since it is winning the struggle over the commons sense.
