THE MOST BEAUTIFUL EDUCATIONAL TREATISES AND THE HERMENEUTICS OF THEIR POSSIBILITIES
Keywords:
The Republic, Émile, Hermeneutic
Abstract
The paper highlights the literary genre under which Plato and Rousseau have written their most famous texts on education: The Republic and Émile. It aims mainly at indicating the hermeneutic possibilities that arise from the fact that both books have been written in a poetic language: the first one is a socratic dialogue and the second one is an educational romance.
