REFLECTIONS ON “LET MATURING CHILDHOOD IN CHILDREN”

Abstract

The study presented here focuses on the Rousseaunian maxim "Let maturing childhood in children" that appears explicitly in the author’s work Emilio or on education especially in the Book II, from which idea we strive to perform an analytical and interpretative elaboration. To achieve our purposes, we will be dedicated to elucidate the concepts involved in this affirmation, also taking the others author’s insights which intellectual production help us to reveal some of the theoretical links and its implications that are wrapped in the central affirmation of our interest. The text was constituted into four parts, the latter one being devoted to the concluding remarks of the study followed by the references.
