PHYSICAL EDUCATION, GAMES AND CULTURE
Abstract
The present paper uses as a starting point the notion that in Physical Education area the debates which has the notion of culture presents itself as a strategy to base pedagogical interventions considering the meanings, the political, the social identities and the social relationship connected with corporal practices. In this context, explain the way how many tendencies treat pedagogically the games in pedagogical proposals and then – considering the work of Kischimoto (1993) – analyze how children games can be seen as a cultural production involved in questions of power, identity, social relationship and social production of cultural meanings.
