CONVERSATION NETWORKS, TEACHER EDUCATION AND DIGITAL TECHNOLOGIES
Abstract
This paper aims at discussing teacher education in a conversation network supported by information and communication technologies. Understanding teacher education in a network allows thinking with others and having a different attitude by comparing, sharing, and listening so that beliefs, knowledge and meanings can be faced in an authorial way; it will lead to signification, rather than to mere obedience to the collective. Therefore, technological resources may be important tools for the development of conversation networks which can trigger teachers’ commitment to cooperative work, knowledge updating, experience sharing and learning.
