COMPETENCE MANAGEMENT, KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT AND LEARNING ORGANIZATIONS
tools used by the capital to take knowledge over from workers
Abstract
At this time of productive restructuring, capital once again excels in creating alternatives for exploiting workers. This research aims at revealing the logics and the content of the discourse made by the new model of business management under construction. The findings show that a powerful model has been developed: it is supported by a widely disseminated ideology which reinforces the worker’s alienation and enables actual work subsunction. The new models of business management and education for work, therefore, constitute the most sophisticated form the capital has, so far, found to take intelligence over from workers in order to increase the exploitation and the consequent surplus value. Thus, they try to keep profit and expansion in a Taylorist-Fordist model in crisis.
