THE FORMATION OF THE CHILD AS SUBJECT IN SOCIETY
interaction and inter-subject relationships
Abstract
Aspects related to the process of conscience constitution throughout the child’s development stages are provided, with special reference to Henri Wallon’s psychogenetic development model. The manner interaction and inter-subjectivity relations maintained by the child with the Other, which are of paramount importance for conscience formation, is initially enhanced. Moreover, the importance of emotion-mediated affectivity of behavior in such relationships is discussed. The relationship between the theme and pedagogical activities is briefly commented upon.
