PHYSICAL EDUCATION IN A HOSPITALAR CLASS
notes on an experience with an elementary school class
Abstract
This paper relates a pedagogical experience with Physical Education classes in a primary school class in Hospital in Florianópolis County, Santa Catarina State. The experience was developed linked to the teaching training process of undergraduate students of Federal University of Santa Catarina, an obligatory discipline in teachers’ formation. The work initiates after a short presentation of the class structure and functioning, presents and discusses the development of the physical education related to the specifics problems of the hospital class: the patient and the sick students’ conditions, the non obligation frequency in class, the heterogeneity and variability of the class, among others. The paper concludes with some considerations about school planning and the possible inclusion matter of Hospital class, and proposing questions and challenges for new researches.
