The second, Programa SOM: formação, assessoria e orientação em música (Program SOM: education, advisory and orientation in music), is mainly aimed toward the continued education of schoolteachers working in the fundamental education system, and is organized in four lines of action: in-service teacher education; initial teacher education; educational concerts and advisory of groups and individuals involved in school bands.
