WRITING AS A FORMATION DEVICE IN EDUCATION
Abstract
The text focuses on writing as a formation device of the teachers in education. It takes as reference two studies realized with teachers from the early years of basic schooling: one in Portugal and another in Brazil. In both it was demonstrated the formative potential of writing, able to stimulate reflections that articulated and acknowledged the elements of personal and professional histories of those involved, enabling comprehensions of the dynamics of everyday school life, as well as defining new forms of organization and direction of the education practices.
