Qual homem devemos formar pela educação? Considerações sobre a filosofia Freiriana

Abstract

This work was elaborated in order to investigate, more specifically, Freire‟s Anthropology in the midst of philosophical-educational thought of the author. For this, we proposed a question, hypothetically presented to the author, namely, "what kind of man we should make up by education?" From this questioning the work was organized. In the Presentation session, we aim to locate the source of inspiration of this text, explaining the coordinates where our intentions lie. In the Introduction, the central issue of the work is explained and explored, as well as, we tried to show its complexity, placing it in relation to other fundamental concepts. Following the discussion, we look for elements to try to articulate, also hypothetically, some possible answers by Freire to the central issue of the work. It is, therefore, a bibliographical investigation that is guided in a significant proportion of the work of Paulo Freire and some other authors who helped significantly in building our interpretation and reflection.
