LEARNING AND RATIONALITY IN NEOMODERN PROJECT

Abstract

We explicit in this text the result of an investigation on some philosophical assumptions that constitute the idea of Learning and Rationality in Mario Osorio Marques written, and its outspreads to the ambit of education. We highlight, especially, the philosophical route that he assumes to think the importance of learning in the constituition of man’s humanity and his autonomy and emancipation conquest. His idea of learning is understood like a possible answer to modern racionality crisis. Comes from this comprehension the necessity of expliciting the ambivalences of modernity and the agony of post-modernity, situating the necessity of neo-modern project to education and the educational practices. The author, with his learning, in social mediation of learning and teaching, evidences with some originality these two historical dimensions – irreducible – implicated in learning: the one of a subjectivity that’s always learning – and the one of the social and historical world.
