SCHOOL TEACHER AS RESEARCH IN THE BASIC EDUCATION CONTEXT

Abstract

Social research points out the need to educate research teachers at initial education and continuing formation to improve school and university teaching practice. The effective of this metaphor come up with the teaching work conditions. There are works published, among of them by Menga Lüdke, that have been dedicated to the theme more than two decades in Brazil. What indicators does MengaLudke found about teacher research in the Basic Education, bearing in mind comprehension, possibilities and limits of it effects? The answer to this question is based on review of the literature in articles of science fiction, events onEducation area, ENDIPE and ANPED that are shown the name of the research and describers: ‘teachers, research, school’. By going beyond the findings at author’s writings, new possibilities were regarded in this article, such as, discuss that the school and university teachers need to investigate about teaching as a factor to improve professional development and improve education.
