Abstract

This paper analyzes the stage of the Pedagogy Course in a public HEI, RS, Brazil, in the perspective of one who is already a teacher. Guidelines questions: what is the meaning of the stage to interns teachers? The theoretical core: Pimenta e Lima (2004); Lima (2012); Schön (2000); Pereira (1982). The methodological process occurred by collecting data from open questionnaire applied to three students interns of the Course of Pedagogy. The cri teria for choosing these,  were being formed in the teaching / Normal Course and already having exercised the profession of a teacher before or concurrent with the completion of the internship. Some results: do teachers stage being provoked reflection about practices that performed before and after the stage. This was conceived as "the moment of making" the theory and focused on "thinking". The conceptions of theory and practice are still marked by epistemological reductionism, while nodding to the importanc e of the relationship between them. Understood the need exists stage, even in their case, they were already teachers. There was no alternative proposal to the stage despite a collaborator have mentioned the possibility of this can be done in groups already working in teaching.
