PERCEPTIONS OF TEACHERS ON CURRICULUM CHANGES FROM HIGH SCHOOL IN BRAZIL
Abstract
This article presents the results of a qualitative approach research, conducted with high school teachers, on their perceptions and experiences in relation to the context of the curricular changes initiated in early 1990, with the High School reform. For such a study were conducted semi-structured interviews with ten active teachers from public and/or private network of the city of Rio Grande, Rio Grande do Sul State. The results obtained show the difficulties faced with the implementation of such changes and point out the necessity of structural modifications to the school system, vaporization of the teaching profession and improvement on teacher education. This study is expected to contribute to the discussions on the changes of high school in the current Brazilian educational scene.
