Until when the public university will be not as a private entity?

Abstract

The article addresses the challenges imposed on public universities, social institutions have become social organizations, due to the crisis of the capitalist mode of production and the consequent emptying of the state with the adoption of neoliberalism. Aims to bring information, knowledge and research to expand the understanding of the topic to subsidize the debates generated by the new requirements of the CNPq and CAPES for universities. With this, you get elements to understand the changes affecting the organization and running of these universities, allowing capture the pattern that is imposed on them and that redefines the teaching work. At the end are formulated questions about the possibilities and limits of intervention of this process, which proves the relevance of the study.
