Abstract

: It was intended to analyze the versions of the reality of Portuguese teachers from three schools in the city of Niterói-RJ on the formation of the subject critical literate, not excepting the analysis of the possibilities and the limits of this work. The rationale was based on Freire’s contributions on the teaching of palavramundo and criticism of the established corporate standard and the Bakhtinian contributions as a guide for the analysis of utterances of educators, their social languages. For this qualitative study, semi-structured Questionnaires Were applied, focus groups and individual interviews analysed based on the Theory of Enunciation. Teachers acknowledged that they are unable to this function on a number of complicating factors for carrying out their work and given the complexity of such training.
