MORE EDUCATION PROGRAM AND FULL-TIME EDUCATION MODELS

Abstract

This paper aims to systematize three full-time education models through the More Education Program: full time education focused on the More Education Program; full-time education organized through a specific policy with the collaboration of the More Education Program; full-time education organized though the provision of many actions of extending the school day, including the More Education Program. The systematization is the result of an exercise of typification of models, based on empirical researches developed in different Brazilian contexts. The paper allows the visualization of the organizational alternatives and possibilities created by the federal entities that implement the More Education Program and helps to understand the relationships and the politic decisions established for the construction of a public policy of full-time education.
