Abstract

The access and attendance of students to school under the argument of a discourse that defends the idea that the school is for all is challenging school systems. Having the studies by Sacristan (1995, 1997, 2005) as the main theoretical reference, this article aims to discuss elementary and essential aspects to schooling in interface with subjects related to the organization and structure of the syllabus, planning, and to teaching and learning strategies. If school attendance is everybody's right, it is necessary to reassure that offering school access conditions is not enough. It is necessary, most of all, to offer educational environments that lead students to success through schooling.
