Abstract

The present article is the result of a research concerning the perspectives that school administrators of the rural schools of the Municipal Network of Education of Rondonópolis/Mato Grosso present on the Rural Education Policies. The study aimed to verify if these perspectives express the intentionality that guide such policies and the beliefs concerning the singularity and the authenticity of the way of being and living of the rural worker. The methodological option was the qualitatitive approach which allows the comprehension of the meanings attributed by the research subject to the phenomenon in study. The empirical research was conducted by means of interviews with five managers in the position of directors of five rural schools. The analysis and interpretation of the collected information pointed out that the perspectives expressed by the interviewed administrators reflect the principles and the intentionalities of the politicies of rural education.
