Abstract

Education is known as a space of regulation and capture of subjects because of its global reach, in other words, it is an important strategy of biopolitical government – the ruling of populations’s species – body’s life. This paper aims to analyze the relation between pedagogical and medical knowledge in the constitution of the student-subject, since increasingly the medicalization of Young adults under the discursive aegis of improving learning has affected the scholar space, the teaching practice and the constitution of subjects in this space. As a discoursive corpus the Program Saúde na Escola and articles from the Nova Escola journal were analyzed in order to understand the production of subjects in the relationship between pedagogical and medical knowledge.
