Abstract

This work aims to evaluate how educators think about the integration of Digital Information and Communications Technology (ICT) in school curriculum, considering the advances, facilities and difficulties that they produce. In order to understand the subject’s thinking, an opinion survey was carried out with the teams of two schools that participated in a pedagogical training for portable computer use within PROUCA-TO program, in the municipality of Gurupi, Tocantins. Answers were processed by QualiQuantiSoft software, that generated Collective Subject Discourses, expressing their predominant thoughts and conceptions. The more persistent complaint of the subjects is related t the weak internet connection, considered an obstacle to effective curricular integration of Digital ICT. Teachers express the belief that such integration can take place in médium term and that will be relevant to improve teaching and learning processes.
